This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application XO Tic Tac Toe (the "App") handles information. The App is a local, offline, 2-player Tic Tac Toe game for Android.

1. Who we are

2. Summary

  • The App works fully offline.
  • The App does not require an account.
  • The App does not collect personal information.
  • The App does not use ads.
  • The App does not use analytics SDKs for gameplay.
  • The App does not use Firebase, databases, or online multiplayer.
  • Game scores exist only on your device during the current app session and are not uploaded to any server.

3. Information we collect

We do not collect, store on our servers, sell, rent, or share personal data.

In particular, the App does not collect:

  • Name, email address, phone number, or postal address
  • Photos, contacts, or files from your device
  • Precise or approximate location
  • Payment information
  • Advertising IDs for ad targeting
  • Gameplay data uploaded to the cloud

4. Information processed only on your device

To run the game locally, the App may temporarily keep the following information only in the device memory while the App is open:

  • Current board state (X and O positions)
  • Current turn
  • Session scores for Player 1, Player 2, and Draws

This information is used only to display and update the game on your screen. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party. When you close the App, session scores are not retained for cloud sync because the App has no online backend.

5. Internet access

Gameplay does not require an internet connection.

The App may include a standard Android internet permission only because of the default React Native project setup used during development. The App itself does not use the internet for ads, tracking, account login, cloud saves, or multiplayer.

6. Ads and tracking

The App does not show advertisements and does not use advertising or tracking SDKs such as AdMob.

7. Children’s privacy

The App is a simple casual game suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not collect personal information, there is no child personal data for us to delete from our servers.

8. Third-party services

The App does not integrate third-party analytics, crash reporting, authentication, payment, social login, or advertising services for its core gameplay.

If you download the App from Google Play, Google may process data according to Google’s own privacy policy in connection with Google Play services and store distribution. That processing is controlled by Google, not by this App’s gameplay features.

9. Data security

Because we do not collect or store your personal data on our servers, there is no personal-data server database associated with this App for us to secure. Local on-device game state exists only while you use the App on your device.

10. Your choices

  • You can reset session scores inside the App using Reset Score.
  • You can uninstall the App at any time from your device settings.
  • Uninstalling removes the App and its local installation data from your device.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
